Vero is originally from Aguascalientes, Mexico, and has been living in the USA for 18 years. She worked three years in the Even Start program in Rifle. Vero attended Colorado Mountain College where she learned English and finished her GED. Vero loves to spend time with children and she loves how the RAR program works because she believes the books open the doors for a better future for the children.
